Join us to relish the Brown vs. Board of Education Mural at the Washburn University School of Law. 2024 marks the 70th anniversary of the seminal 1954 Brown v. Board of Education ruling which pronounced racial segregation in public schools unconstitutional.
Fun Fact: Were you aware that Charles Scott, John Scott, and Charles Bledsoe – the trio of Black attorneys who lodged the Brown v. Board case in the U.S. District Court of Kansas on Feb. 28, 1951 – were esteemed alumni of Washburn University School of Law?
